Steps to play Baccarat Bet
- Step 1
The first step is to be clear about the point that you can bet on only one of the two hands. One is the Player’s hand and, the other is the Banker’s hand. So, you can bet on any of the two before card dealing.
- Step 2
The second step is to know the card dealing process. Basically, for the Player and the Banker, two cards are dealt. The casino operator holds the shoe and slides one card out. Then the card is placed face-up first in the Player’s box and, another card which is the first for the ‘Banker’s hand,’ is placed in the same manner in its box. After this, the house deals the cards for the Player and the Banker’s hand. So the first round has a total of two cards for each hand.
- Step 3
The third step is counting the total points of both sets of cards. The ten and face cards have 0 points, and all others have the same point as their face value. The ace has one point. If you find the total is more than 10, then the second digit will be the hand’s value. Suppose the points are 9 and 6, giving a total of 15. Now, point 5 will be the point of the hand. So, to win your bet, you need to get points closer to 9.
- Step 4
Step 4 is understanding the natural win system. In the first two cards dealt, if you earn a point total of seven or eight, be it the ‘Player’ or ‘Banker,’ it’s a natural win. Once there is a win like this, then the game is over there itself. So the bets placed are to be cashed out.
- Step 5
Step 5 determines whether the ‘Player’ will get a third card or not. You can do it only by looking at the total points. The ‘Player’s’ hand has to be complete first. If you get a total of 8 or 9, then you get an additional card. If a total of 0 to 5 is there, you can draw the third card. But again, this is only possible if the ‘Banker’ has a total of 8 or 9. And if the ‘Banker’s’ hand wins, no cards are to be drawn further.
- Step 6
It is the most significant step which governs the rule of ‘Banker’s hand third card.’ If the ‘Player’ does not draw a new card, the ‘Banker’ does so with a total of 0 to 5. Then the game turns toward the ‘Player’ again. Then it all depends on the third card that the ‘Player’ picks.
- Step 7
The last step is to calculate the winning hand’s points after dealing the cards. The one closer to 9 is declared the winning hand. If there is a tie, neither of the two wins or loses.
